This Martin EMP-1 usually clears a $3000 asking price, but this particular one has seen some better days. That doesn't mean it's time has come yet, although from first glance it may seem like it. This is an excellent DIY project for someone looking to get into repairing acoustics, and with a little elbow grease and a lot of love this bird will fly once more. We did the best we could to accurately photograph the cracks in the top and back as well as the binding separation on the back as well. The action sits very high at the moment but the bridge seems to be holding against the top fairly well. If you love Martin guitars and welcome a project, this one is for you.
