GoldTooth Dropout (OPEN BOX)
It is an elegant and versatile analog tremolo with an intelligent and intuitive waveform editor.
Utilising the classic THAT2180 VCA (of SSL console fame) and a refined AD823-based pre-amplifer, trm delivers a pristine, studio grade, all-analog signal path tremolo running at a high-headroom 18v dc.
The Waveform Editor is implemented using 12bit wavetables fed to the VCA through a MCP4921 DAC with options to edit and shift emphasis to SINE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIPLET Waveforms.
The unit has soft switching relay bypass with the internally switchable option of buffered or true bypass.
To combat the often forgotten and perceived volume drop of tremolo’s, I’ve added a little extra boost on tap via the level control should you need it to raise whatever weirdness you have concocted back up to unity or more.
All knobs are uniquely designed and made from tough Nylon12 by Goldtooth. They are near impossible to break!
Controls: Rate, Depth, Tilt, Vol
Basic Waveforms: SINE, TRIANGLE, SQUARE, TRIPLET (infinitely editable to saw, reverse saw, pulse etc. etc. )
