Two channels + boost
The Tech 21 PL1 Paul Landers Signature Fly Rig packs two distinct channels, a boost, and a slew of essential texture effects (delay, tap tempo, and vibrato) into its svelte and easy-traveling metal chassis. The Wasser (Water) clean channel offers 2-band active EQ and a 1-knob compressor to quickly dial in chunky rhythms and crystalline clean tones. Engaging the Feuer (Fire) drive channel unlocks a world of smoke and heat, with 3-band active EQ, a drive knob, and a Bite control to punch up extra presence. An adjustable boost provides an output increase for leads and solos.
Onboard delay, vibrato, and ambience controls
Also onboard the Paul Landers Fly Rig are a vintage-voiced tape delay with dedicated tap tempo footswitch, a variable vibrato capable of subtle to extreme movement, and an ambience control to impart lifelike room and mic effects. These powerful FX all but eliminate the need for additional rack gear and stompboxes.
Amped or standalone operation
The 1/4" in and out jacks included on the PL1 are for seamless amp integration (if you’re into that sort of thing).
