Similar in tone to the Tall Font BM’s, the Wren and Cuff Box of War has a slightly darker tone overall with a bit more of a fuzzy feel. The response to the guitar volume knob is unparalleled in a muff style fuzz. While the Box of War can get an overdrivey feel on the bridge pickup, the tone is pure vintage fuzz with singing sustain and tons of harmonic content. Even at bedroom levels the Wren and Cuff Box of War provides that liquid lead tone but its true home is on the stage.
