Ibanez has made some fine updates to their very diverse catalog of basses, but the SRMS800 Bass Workshop Multiscale Electric Bass Guitar is not your typical Ibanez bass. A cozy SR body made with a poplar burl/walnut top and mahogany body delivers warm tones while themultiscale design offers ideal tension and amazing playability. The Ibanez SRMS800 is powered by two Bartolini BH2 pickups that allow you to sculpt your sound exactly the way you want. The Ibanez SRMS800 was designed for the recording and touring musician with its tricked-out specs for a lifetime of great tone and playability.

The Acclaimed SR Feel with Quality Tonewoods
Known for its extreme comfort, soft curves, and lightweight, the SR series basses are desired by many bass players. The poplar burl/walnut top and mahogany body delivers accurate tones with a bright top end and rounded lows. Some basses struggle with string cross-talk, but Ibanez solved this problem with the MR5S bridge. Crafted to maximize vibration transfer without interference from the other strings, this isolated design is locked down to the body providing excellent resonance.

Multiscale Design
Featuring a 5-piece jatoba/walnut neck and a bound panga panga fingerboard, the SRMS800 Bass Workshop Multi-Scale Electric Bass Guitar incorporates a multiscale design. This trend of multi-scale designs has been around for the last couple of years and is consistently on the rise. The multiscale design boasts a longer scale length on the bass side of the neck and a shorter scale on the treble side, which offers superior intonation and more consistent tension. This design allows for a more lively tone that will rival other basses.

Versatile Bartolini Pickups with 3-Band EQ
Powered by a set of Bartolini BH2 dual-coil pickups, the Ibanez SRMS800 Bass Workshop Multiscale Electric Bass Guitar delivers uncompromised tone with great response, full mids, and tight lows. Fine-tune your sound with the use of the custom 3-band EQ that features a 3-way mid-frequency switch with EQ frequencies at 250Hz, 450Hz, and 700Hz.
